i think we are finally out of the "sickness rut"! i am looking forward (and abby is too) to a more exciting week. my poor girly has been bored out of her mind. she is like her father....it makes her nutty (and everyone else around her) to be home. she simply HAS to get out. so today i tried something my mom suggested: i had her run laps around the house...and up and down our three flights of stairs. i didn't think she would do it, but i figured i'd give it a try...and it worked!
i'm still doing the liver cleanse....very awesome. except for the rash i have on my back. at least it is on my back and not on my face! i want to continue with for the rest of the year and see how it affects "migraine time" over a longer period of time.
does anyone have any suggestions as to what i could get emma for christmas....i'm stumped! she needs no clothes or toys :(
also does anyone have any suggestions for how to organize a kid on chores?

a long time ago we had a wall hanging thing with medalions, the kids would flip things over from the to-do side to the done side. we included everything, get dressed, brush teeth, meals, play time, chores, they had fun running back and forth all day flipping the little tag things over. we've also had a "chore jar" (for the weekend "deep clean") where we put in all the chores and some silly things too (dance for 5 min, make silly faces, kiss everyone in the room, etc) , the kids and I would reach in and pull things out at random. these two things have worked the best for us because it takes the nagging away from me. once the big kids got older they lost interest, but CharlesWallace is getting to the age where I think he'd like them!
