the biggest news of this month as you know is that abby celebrated her birthday and turned 3! this year she was much more aware of what having her birthday, a party, inviting her friends, presents and all of that meant. however, the concept of being born three years ago on the 28th was bit much to swallow. she thought she was a baby again :) so we just put that concept aside for the moment.
abby asked to have her party at chuck e cheese this yr, and we were happy to comply. no food to prepare and no house to clean. although i will have to say that all the screaming kids left me wondering at times if a house party would have been better. all in all, though she had a blast and most of all chuck e cheese came out sung happy b-day to her, and performed. this week we went back to redeem her tickets and spend some of the tokens we didn't get to play use and got her price: a hellen (cec's friend) makeup bag. on the drive home she spent almost an entire hour rubbing lip stick and lip gloss on her face :)
today, we had her 3 yr check up and as always i went w/ a knot on my throat dreading the news, but alas God had a surprise for me....she is now 29lbs (30%......has not been this high on the chart since she was 6 mos.!), 38 1/2 " (80% tall as always), and mama was beside herself w/ happiness for the good news!
oh! and as you can tell we have a camera now!!!!....that works!!!! so i've posted all our pictures on facebook and i'll just give you all the links to albums so you can see them there.
we continue to do all we can to get ready for our big move too. that has been keeping us quite busy. lots of forms to fill out, turn in, comander signatures, medical out process, etc. ryan has been studying for promotion (monday is his test), and soon after that will need to complete several requirements for his training in FL. he leaves for that feb 16th for 5 weeks. as soon as he gets back we take off to germany. we don't have official orders yet so we don't have specific dates as of now.
