well, now i've been having migraines every day :( 

i haven't been able to work out either double :(

what a mess!

today miss abby got to spend a gift certificate at the bx: she got a wii game.

no surprise there :)

we also went to baby 1 and got a third gate for our many sets of stairs. 

this means emma is quickly figuring out that pulling herself up and climbing can bring rewards (even if they are only momentary!) unfortunately our stairs are quite scary (open in between stairs and the railing is very far from the steps, not to mention that they are made of wood) so i don't think i'm gonna let her "practice" going up and down on her own. not unless i am right behind her. not in this house! 

her vocabulary is also quickly developing...right along with the moving! :)

tomorrow i have an eye appointment. i'm considering contacts. i think i'm gonna have to wear something all the time now. since i got pregnant with emma my sight has deteriorated a lot! i guess i'll find out more definitively tomorrow. 

my appointment is early so after i get back we are gonna go do something fun. 

it looks like the weather is gonna clear up a bit (still cold, but at least no snow for a few days).

now that all the holidays are over i need to start planning for abby's birthday! she is gonna be 5!!! she is so excited :) i think my new year's resolution will be to be on top of birthdays, holidays, aniversaries, etc. really sorry family, it just wasn't my year in that respect 8-/
