had one of those days where i had lots of plans but nothing went "as planned".

the ramstein clinic: closed for training so we were not able to get our flu shots (abby and i) and emma her MMR shot (imm. clinic had run out of it when she had her 12 mo old check up).

bx food court play area: getting mopped. so we had to walk around the bx. abby and emma picked out some ornaments for this year. then went back to the play area. only problem: no kids to play with :( so that was a disaster....

forgot my phone at home and had several missed calls. one of them was from my neighbor. she ended up sending her son over to our house to play. him and miss abs had SO MUCH FUN! bad part: they might be moving soon. it always seems to happen that way...for me. but, don't want to focus on that....we are going to start swapping kids in the afternoons. oh! and we live 2 mins away. walking! why didn't we do this before! neither one of us can answer that.

had scrambled eggs for dinner. miss picky and miss whatever LOVED dinner! emma is starting to use her utensils. this is all so new for me! and, as you might guess: I LOVE IT TOO!

i am (so far...) feeling much better. all i had was a scratchy throat that was on it's way to very painful swallowing episodes. i saw a bad cough on my near future. i unearthed everything in my cabinet that has been hiding for the last almost 2 years (pregnancy and nursing kept them in hiding). i'd forgotten what it was like to not be miserable while sick!

ryan on the other hand got hit really hard. i gave him some nyquil. he got the runny/stuffy nose thing. one more day of work for him.

tomorrow is family movie night! popcorn and all :) i think we are going to watch "the nativity". ryan says abby might be bored with it. we'll see what we end up watching. i think the house and tree decorating will have to happen on saturday. i don't think ryan will be up for it all tomorrow.
