lots has happen since the last post and try as we may things keep getting busier and busier. or maybe i just keep getting slower and slower and poor ryan keeps picking up my slack. by far though, the most exciting news is that car #2 arrived safely (saturn). i had promised abby that as soon as it arrived i would take her to the pool on base and boy she did not forget! and of course we have been out just about every day partly to escape the heat (i personally like to hang out by the frozen food section....i have it all memorized by now!).
individual news:
abby:
- successfully completed her fungus meds. now we are dealing w/ the porcupine look as the hair grows back
- is making friends at church and even has a best friend :) (anna) though she occasionally will say that she still misses the red house and the church that was close w/ all her little friends (and then she names them all...kind of breaks my heart, but i tell her that we could trust that Jesus would provide new little friends and an awesome church and a place for us to live in...and He did!)
- we are now going to search for a kinder (preschool ~ germans call it kinder) for her to attend. considering a montesori one near our house. the one that we wanted to put her in is full until next yr :(
- loves bible stories and talking about God and Jesus. favorite story Jonah who gets spit out by the big whale :)
- talks my brains out just about every day!
- is all into dinosaurs and the solar system (has all the planets memorized ~ the stars and planets you saw on the video kind of got her interested)
- favorite color: blue (likes to make sure everyone knows just in case)
- favorite game: hide-and-go-'sink'
ryan:
- been working really hard on some courses he needs to complete for his job training and promotion before the baby comes
- getting ready for his yearly physical fitness exam
- but most of all helping me A LOT!
- he and i have been bonding on most nights of the week while we listen to pastor chuck smith preaching through the Bible. we are so thankful for this free resource, it has been of such blessing to our faith!
baby and me:
- i am successfully gaining the weight though i still have 'morning sickness'
- no name has been picked though we have a few we like (will let you all know when we decide)
- c-section will be scheduled on my next visit (aug 11th)
- i think we are gonna have quite a wiggler
- i will be on week #30 on tuesday! (july28th)
- finally got brave about a month ago and got my haircut at the bx beauty salon. i had this german lady cut it there and she did and awesome job! so i wrote down her name. i'm due for another cut now!
all i can think of for now....my pillow is screaming for me! hope you enjoy the pictures from facebook :)
