we also attempted potty trainig and it went, well lets just say it didn't go. so i'm gonna wait again and try my neighbor's method next time. there is something about having a kid that can show you just how impatient you are....anyway, i think other than nursing, this is going to be my biggest challenge. sometimes i contemplate how it might be if i just let her wear diapers for the rest of her life!
ryan has also been working really hard. yesterday the squadron started 12 hour shift to get the guys ready to go out to the field. ryan got the night shift and will be gone on sat for 5 days. not that long, but i guess i still have the bad flavor of iraq in my mouth.
on the lighter side we are very encouraged and thankful to know that God is working things out in unexpected ways for when ryan separates from the air force. we'll let you know how things progress as time goes by.
the other day i was having a headache and held my head in my hands with my elbows resting on the table. ryan sometimes calls me 'hon', so as i had my head down abby came over to me and put her hand on my back and said: "what's wrong hon?"....let me tell you, that was the best pain killer i ever had! she keeps us laughing even in the midst of bitter sweet moments.
oh, and get this she is now tired of hot dogs, so her new thing is avocados and eggs! praise God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND the other day she ate a cookie, a WHOLE cookie! her diet so far consists mostly of non fattening things that NO kid likes, of course except her.
so now that ryan is back i've noticed i take way less pictures, so here is a couple i have managed to take lately:
reading her Bible (devotional, i guess?)
getting ready for a bath and laughing at herself from wearing a visor backwards :)
